I have two new grand nephews, Liam and Thomas (Tommy). I have just about finished this blanket for Liam, who was born about a month ago. Tommy arrived this week and I just started a blanket for him.
Liam's blanket is made with a white/blue yarn. It measures about 3 feet square.It is all double crochet with shells. I'm also trying to make a matching amigurimi animal with the leftover yarn. Not sure what...we'll see what it turns out to be.
WOW! I love this! It's my taste, too; just 2 simple colors, not an array of colors. Once I learn the stitches I'll be able to do something like this.......someday! You are my inspiration!!!
